The seemingly fragile plants of this poppy variety is a strong and robust grower once it gets started and blooms for many weeks on end. A firm favourite for any spring garden.

Sowing guide:Direct sow not recommended. Sow in trays in March to April and transplant after 8 weeks.

Germination guide:5-10 days @ 15-18 C. Cover seed with a thin dusting of sand or vermiculite. Water the tray from the bottom, seeds will wash away if watering from above.

Harvesting Tips:

Harvest at cracking bud stage. Stems must be seared or singed to prolong vase life. Flame or dip the bottom 5cm of the stems in boiling water. Then transfer to fresh water immediately. Regular harvesting is required to promote continuous flowering.
