Also known as Prarie Smoke, this low-growing Geum variety boasts interesting achenes once the flowers have faded. These achenes will stay on the plant for weeks. No deadheading required.

Climate:Prefers a relatively cool growing environment and can withstand frost. For best plant health, protect from harsh afternoon sun in summer.
Sowing guide:Sow in trays in March to April / September and transplant after 6-8 weeks.
Germination guide:Refrigerate seeds for 4 to 6 weeks prior to sowing. Seeds germinate erratically over 21-28 days at 18-21 C. Light required - cover lightly with vermiculite and keep moist, but not overly wet, until seeds have germinated.
