Throw-and-grow is what this bee-loving collection is all about! Our spring meadow collection is ideal for someone who enjoys a wild garden look. These flowers were selected for their ability to “self-seed” once their flowers have faded and seed pods have formed.


Contains a mix of Borage, Cosmos, Fennel, Nigella, Cornflower, Carrot, Calendula, Buckwheat and Basil.

Climate:Moderate climate and heat-loving annuals.
Sowing guide:Sow September to February onto a weed-free, flattened bed. Scatter seeds evenly over a 2m2 area and gently water the area well. Keep area moist until germination. Water often until seedlings have established.
Germination guide:5-21 days @ 16-20 C. Light required - do not cover too much.

Growing Tips:

Remove only the first couple of spent flowers to encourage the growth of more flowers.

Harvesting Tips:

Leave the subsequent flowers on the plants for the bees to enjoy and to allow self-seeding after the flowers have faded and seed pods have formed.
