These plants produce a number of tall spikes with densely packed florets. Cold hardy, easy to grow and early to flower, their cheery flower spikes are a delight to have in your garden and wonderful in bouquets.

Climate:Prefers cool to moderate temperatures and can withstand some frost. Following germination, plants require a cold period (between 0 and 13 C) for the first 4-6 weeks to ensure they flower well.
Sowing guide:Refrigerate seeds @ 4 C for 1-2 weeks prior to sowing. Direct sow (recommended) in March to April / August or sow in trays and transplant after 8 weeks. If transplanting, take extra care to avoid root disturbance.

Germination guide:14-21 days @ 13 C. Darkness required - cover seed with a layer of soil.
